Live commerce
Live selling
Sellers can go live for their audience. Bid state, chat, cart and checkout run on LuxCharity servers. Video is optional through a connected YouTube channel. The platform does not sell its own streaming service and does not require Mux or LiveKit fees per show.
Information phase · Translations and operational release under reviewHow a live show runs
In the app you create a show, optionally schedule slots and fill a playlist with your released listings.
You start the show for your audience. Many sellers can be live at the same time. Each show has its own room.
Viewers see lots, chat and purchase actions. Auction lots use the same server side bid state as ordinary auctions.
Fixed price lots can go to the cart or straight to checkout. After an auction lot ends, the leading person pays like in other auctions.
A hammer or cart line is not a confirmed payment. Fees, minimum donation and shipping rules apply like any other sale.
YouTube is optional
If you have a YouTube channel, you can connect it with OAuth and embed live video when the technical link is in place.
Without YouTube you can still go live. Chat, playlist, fixed price, auction, cart and checkout work without embedded video.
Video may be absent or added later through a public YouTube link. LuxCharity does not host its own camera feed.
YouTube rules, age limits and copyright in the stream are yours and Google’s. The platform does not pre check live pictures.
OAuth credentials do not belong in public text. Connections are managed with server side protection.
Auctions, fixed price and server time
Auction timing and extensions in the last 30 seconds follow server time, not video latency.
Everyone sees the same bid state. There is no secret second clock for individual people.
After the first accepted bid, donation split, recipients and delivery path of the lot stay fixed.
You can activate fixed price lots during the show. The displayed price follows the same shipping or collection rule as in the catalogue.
Won auctions become paid orders only after confirmed payment. Until then the status is awaiting payment.
No platform streaming fee
LuxCharity does not charge its own live streaming fee and does not require Mux, LiveKit or similar per seller.
Usual sale fees and the 10 % minimum donation from P apply whether or not video runs.
YouTube or Google may have their own terms and technical limits. Those costs are not LuxCharity platform fees.
A connected payment account and payouts follow the same hold rules as fixed price and ordinary auction.
This page describes the product state. It does not promise finished push delivery for reminders.
Reminders and followers
You can set planned air times. Followers of your account may receive notices when push is technically enabled.
Push through FCM or similar may still be pending. Until that is live, there is no promise of phone notifications.
Following still gives in app notices about new items and live slots where the app shows them.
Reminders do not replace your own calendar care and do not guarantee every viewer is online.
Details on data and device tokens sit in the privacy notice, not on this product page.
Your responsibility in live selling
You remain responsible for content, truthful listings, charitable share and lawful goods. Live does not change those duties.
Do not ask for payment outside platform paths. Do not misrepresent authenticity or charitable purpose.
Copyrighted music, third party brand logos or prohibited content in the stream breach the house rules and can lead to a block.
Report technical breaks at once. An effective bid cannot be withdrawn without a sound legal reason.
Full duties are in the seller terms of use, seller agreement and general terms.
