A television programme. A question that stayed with me.
The idea came to me while watching a live television programme in which wealthy people from Monaco described a problem: they own many valuable things they would like to give away or donate. Influencers and other people with large collections face the same question.
Yet not every charitable organization can directly use a luxury handbag, jewellery or a fine watch. Turning them into funds takes time and expertise; valuable donations of goods are sometimes sold below their value. At the same time, some owners would like to keep part of the proceeds. That led me to ask: how can these interests be brought together in a useful way?

Our idea is an infrastructure that lets owners offer their own items and allocate part of the sale price to a good cause. Buyers find special pieces; sellers and certified organizations receive their intended shares.

A clear price for your piece. The intended donation split should be clearly visible before purchase.

Interested buyers bid on an item. Part of the resulting sale price is intended for certified organizations.

Discover items together and bid on them. Video presentations are intended to complement this experience in the future.
At least 10%
With every sale, at least 10% of the item sale price before fees must go to certified organizations in our system. Buyers and sellers decide which organizations to support under the platform’s rules.
Good causes need trust.
Organizations can apply to LuxCharity. Only after successful review and certification do they become available for selection as donation recipients.

Our goal: make donations traceable.
We want to show which amount from a sale benefits which organization and when the payment actually took place. A traceable transaction overview is intended to connect the promised split with completed payments. This should turn a good promise into verifiable support.
Visible through your username.
Usernames are intended for this public overview. This is pseudonymous and does not mean complete anonymity. Those who wish should also be able to show their full name. Private contact details and payment information do not belong in the public display.
