The public profile comes first

A seller account starts as a public social profile with language, country of residence, dispatch place, username and optional avatar, banner, bio and visibility switches. Only the username must be public. Address details stay private even if you show country or dispatch place.

Social links you enter must be real HTTPS addresses of that network. Supported networks are Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X and your own website. Public contact details do not replace later private review data.

Private person, company or influencer is an optional label, not an approval. You may also buy. An already registered buyer account may apply for this profile.

Identity later, not with the first profile

Legal name, address, date of birth, gender and identity evidence follow in the separate identity review. Selling is intended from age 18. Age is taken from the date of birth.

Before own items are published the operator reviews manually. Drafts stay private. Submitted pieces may appear automatically after approval. A refusal is not an approval. A new application is provided for.

Approval does not confirm authenticity of each piece and does not confirm market value. External KYC providers are not to be promised as a finished run. A refused review does not publish an identity file.

What a listing must contain

Description, condition, price, sale mode, shipping or collection, rights in the piece and the intended organisation or the deliberate empty choice for the buyer must be accurate. You may only offer goods you may sell and can deliver.

At least three photos are required to submit. JPG, JPEG, PNG and WebP are accepted. The photos must show this exact piece. Profile images at registration may be up to 5 MB. Evidence files there up to 10 MB, as PDF or image.

Condition values are new, like new, very good, good or acceptable. Condition is your statement, not a LuxCharity review. Provenance and condition do not replace each other. Brands and categories come from the central catalogue, not from an invented list.

State known repairs, missing parts, wear and limits of function before the first bid or the fixed-price purchase is possible. A later silent change of those details after the first bid is not allowed.

How the three photos must look

The three photos show the same concrete piece from different angles. A brand logo alone, a pack shot from the web or a photo of a similar piece is not enough. Photograph serial numbers and engravings so the buyer can check them without revealing private addresses.

None of the three required shots may show the piece as materially better than it is. Strong filters that hide scratches or colour differences are not allowed. Extra images may show detail but do not replace the three required shots.

Profile images and banners are not listing photos. A banner up to the technical limit does not change the duty of the three piece photos. Unreadable, single-colour or fully covered shots do not count.

What you may not offer

Counterfeits, stolen goods, goods without the needed rights, misleading copies and listings that break applicable law are prohibited. Private documents, full identity papers and bank logins do not belong in the listing.

You remove names and addresses on original invoices yourself. In planned discreet shipping you see an intake place, not the buyer’s private address. That does not change your duty to describe honestly.

Weapons and prohibited items under applicable law, dangerous substances without a permit, live animals and listings whose shipment is unlawful are also prohibited. A reference to a LuxCharity review must not sound as if authenticity is already confirmed.

Your duty as sender

For new listings: insured shipping at no extra charge or free collection. The terms state the rule and transport risk. Your concrete duty here is suitable packing, tracking, insurance for item type and full sale value, documentation of handover and damage reports to the carrier or insurer.

Unchanged older listings may still show extra shipping in the app. New listings may not do that for future contract operation. You do not rewrite running auctions after the first bid.

High-value shipments need the same care, not a different donation rule. The high price changes neither the 10% in the terms nor the payout periods.

Packing must withstand shock, moisture and typical handling by the chosen service. Jewellery, watches and sensitive surfaces need inner fixing. An empty brand box without padding is not suitable packing.

When you offer collection

Offer only places and times you can keep. Both of you document handover with date, piece identity and name or username. Collection in an unsafe setting or handover to an unknown third person without agreement is not allowed.

You may not ask the buyer for cash on collection. Payment stays on the platform path. A later demand for extra money at the door is a breach of this role.

State private or commercial

Before contract you must state clearly whether you sell privately or commercially. Commercial sales trigger the statutory withdrawal right in the terms. Private sales do not do that automatically in the EU. For platform sales you still grant the contractual 14-day return from the terms.

Your contact details must be available to the buyer after the sale. After the return period, defect claims remain with you as contracting party.

A later rename from private to commercial or the other way does not change a closed contract. Anyone who sells regularly and in a planned way must not present themselves as a purely private person if the law requires another classification.

Organisation on the listing

You may choose a certified organisation or a released project, or leave the choice to the buyer. If you choose none, the buyer must choose. You may not block the buyer’s 5% split where the terms allow it.

You may not set the organisation share so low that the 10% of P is missed. The website scale limits that in the calculation. The app does not yet enforce that floor throughout. The contract follows the terms, not a stored slider that is too low.

Binding country or purpose limits you set must be kept by the buyer. You may not add a tighter binding after the first bid. General support and a one-country project are different choices; do not mix them in the listing text.

What stays fixed after the first bid

After the first accepted bid, description, condition, price rule, delivery path, organisation choice or deliberate empty choice and purpose limits stay fixed. You do not silently end the auction to relist the same piece at a higher price while bids are running.

Live sale follows the same fixity, only without video. Withdrawing without a sound legal reason after an effective bid is a breach. You report technical breaks at once.

Your money after the periods in the terms

Your share stays blocked until the points named in the terms are all true together. Payment or a shipment notice alone is not enough. Open cases block the amount. After release, bank processing time follows.

You stay responsible for loss, damage and correct sender details even if a planned service later forwards the parcel. A test run creates no finance booking.

A payout account must be in the name of the entitled person. Changes to the account need a new review. You do not ask the buyer to transfer the amount a second time beside the platform.

Taking returns and staying reachable

Accept a timely return and name a reachable return address. If you offer collection of the return shipment, withholding the refund under the terms does not apply. Answer non-receipt and defects in reasonable time.

Do not pretend a refund has already been made. Pass a justified transport-damage report to the service and keep the buyer informed of the state you know.

Further duties in this role

Keep listings current. Accept a timely return. Do not pretend authenticity, a review or a maker certificate. Do not use reviews as pressure. Answer review questions in reasonable time.

A seller account can be followed and reported. Following creates in-app notices, not a video stream. A report is not an automatic block of your payout without review.

If you take a piece off sale that has no bid yet, set it to draft or delete it. Orphaned public cards with a wrong price or goods you can no longer deliver are a breach.

When you end the seller account

Withdraw open listings that have no bid. Open sales, returns and blocks you close under the terms. Deleting a profile does not remove history that must be kept and does not remove the buyer’s right to contact on the concrete contract.

After a block you may not continue the same piece on a second profile to bypass a review. The house rules state the consequences.
